With a vision to produce trained and qualified Operation Theater (OT) Technicians in the region, Saurashtra Paramedical Institute proudly launched the first certified course in Operation Theater Techniques in the entire state of Gujarat. This course is designed to equip students with the practical skills and knowledge required to assist in surgical procedures and maintain the highest standards of operating room safety and efficiency.

📅 Established: 01st September, 2022 (First in Saurashtra-Kutch)
👨‍🎓 Intake Capacity: 15 students per year
⏳ Duration: 1 year (Full-time)
📚 Eligibility: After 12th Pass (In Any Stream)

🛠️ Course Objectives:

• Train students in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative protocols
• Provide hands-on experience in sterilization techniques, surgical instrumentation, and OT management
• Prepare technicians to work efficiently in general, laparoscopic, urological, and transplant surgeries

🏥 Clinical Exposure:

Students are trained in our hospital’s five ultra-modern modular operation theatres, under the guidance of experienced surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and OT staff. Exposure includes:

• Urology and kidney transplant procedures
• Minimally invasive and endoscopic surgeries
• Anaesthesia support and emergency preparedness
