What began as a simple Kidney Hospital has now grown into a full-fledged Kidney Institute, with an academic centre recognized across India. Today, B.T.S.K. proudly stands among the few centres in the country that train super-specialists in Urology and Nephrology.
Parallel growth in allied health programs—such as our DNB in Nephrology and Urology, Nursing College, DMLT, Dialysis Technician Course, and OT Technician Course—has significantly enhanced patient care throughout Gujarat. A major milestone was the accreditation of our Kidney Transplant Program, with six successful transplants and an active cadaver transplant initiative that has boosted organ donation awareness in the community.
During the COVID-19 crisis, our team rose to the challenge by setting up a 50-bed COVID Care Centre with 10 Ventilators and a Vaccine booth, despite it not being our cup of tea. I deeply appreciate the leadership of Shree Jayantibhai Faldu and the dedicated efforts of every member of the BTSK Hospital team during that critical time.
We are dedicated to offering comprehensive care all under one roof and consistently enhance our technological capabilities. As part of our ongoing commitment to innovation, we have introduced a state-of-the-art Robotic Surgery Centre to our region, bringing advanced, minimally invasive procedures closer to those in need.
It is truly a privilege and a source of deep pride to have been part of this incredible journey—from its humble beginnings to now leading the Institute as Chairman. Along the way, I’ve had the honour of working alongside so many remarkable people, and I am deeply grateful to the board of trustees, our generous philanthropic donors, the dedicated consultants, and every staff member. Their unwavering support, belief, and hard work have been the heart and soul of this mission, and together, we’ve created something truly meaningful.
