To address the growing demand for skilled dialysis professionals in the region, B.T. Savani Kidney Hospital initiated the Certified Course in Dialysis Technician (CCDT) in 2010. The course aims to produce qualified and competent Haemodialysis Technicians capable of delivering high-quality renal replacement therapy in hospital and clinical settings.

⏳ Duration: 1 year (Full-time)

🏥 Practical Training:

Students receive extensive hands-on training in the hospital’s state-of-the-art dialysis unit, which includes:

• 46+ modern Haemodialysis machines
• Separate infection-controlled dialysis zones (HBsAg & HCV units)
• Exposure to advanced modalities like SLED, CRRT, and CAPD

📚 Course Highlights:

• Detailed understanding of renal physiology, dialysis principles, machine operation, patient preparation, and emergency handling
• Training under the guidance of experienced Nephrologists and dialysis staff
• Focus on infection control, machine sterilization, and patient safety protocols
